On Friday night, Westfield High School senior running back Dakotah Moynihan scored four touchdowns, rushing for three scores and throwing for another to help the Bombers stay unbeaten (4-0) with a 48-14 rout of the Agawam Brownies.
On Monday, Moynihan was crowned the latest Westfield News MVP. The senior back, who won by the narrowest of margins (51-49 percent over St. Mary’s girls soccer player, Allie Goodreau) joined quarterback Mike Nihill (Week 3), and girls soccer players’ Chloe Lussier, of St. Mary’s (Week 2) and Chandler Pedolzky, of Westfield High (Week 1) as the season’s first four MVPs.
