HADLEY- Nancy A. Fehling, (1953-2021), passed peacefully into eternal rest June 17, 2021. The daughter of Anita Tomlette and Vincent W. Martin, Nancy was born in Springfield on June 10, 1953. She attended Catholic school in Chicopee. She married Richard P. Fehling Sr. of Westfield and raised their two children: Richard P. Fehling Jr. married to Amber Reynolds (California) and Kristen J. Fehling married to Paul M. Styspeck (Hadley, Ma). She was the tender, warm grandmother of 4 grandchildren.
The loved ones who passed before her were her parents and her brothers Gary, David, Randy, and her late husband Richard. Nancy was full of life, but most of all she cherished being with family and friends. After many satisfying years as a homemaker, she worked as a store manager at Caldor and Family Dollar, both in Westfield. She loved being near the ocean, traveling to California and Maine. Nancy loved to laugh and had a positive outlook on life. The lives of all who knew and loved her were made forever richer by her presence. She will be sadly missed by all.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 11, 4 p.m. at the First Congregational Church, 102 Middle Street, Hadley, Ma. Facemasks are required. Burial will be held privately. As a cancer warrior and one who loved children, Nancy would be pleased if people would pay their fortune forward to support the St. Jude Cancer Research for children, for which she was a proud supporter.
