WESTFIELD: Neil R. Bixby, 59, (1956 – 2015) passed away peacefully Sunday, October 11, 2015 surrounded by his family, hand in hand with his loving wife of 40 years Katherine (Tippett) Bixby. He was born in Haverhill, NH, the son of Shirley (Gardner) Bixby and the late Gerald Bixby. He spent many years working on his farm, Laid Back Acres in Russell. He was a member of the Farm Bureau, Boone and Crockett Club and the Northeast Big Buck Club where he received many awards. Neil enjoyed his time on the farm, he had many hobbies including hunting, and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and building his Mustang. Neil is survived by his son, James Bixby and his wife, Tiffany of West Granville; his daughter, Amy Bixby and her husband, Donald Thomas of Westfield; his siblings, Guy, Kim, Carla, Laurie, John, Storm and Robin; his grandchildren, Cailey, Paige, Dakota, Austin, Madison, James Jr., and Michael; and his extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
