New England’s Heroes honored with flyovers on Memorial Day

WESTFIELD –  The 104th Fighter Wing is scheduled to conduct F-15 Eagle flyovers at 18 different locations across Massachusetts and Connecticut in honor of Memorial Day.

“On Memorial Day, we honor the tremendous sacrifice made by military members and their families while serving our country,” said Col. James Suhr. “These Memorial Day flyovers are a tribute in honor of these great Americans who both defended our freedom and shaped our military to be the best in the world.”

The scheduled flyovers are weather dependent and anticipated times are as follows: Kent, Conn. 9:30 a.m., Norfolk, Conn. 9:33 a.m., Lakeside, Conn. 9:36 a.m., Pepperell, Mass. 9:46 a.m., Paxton, Mass. 9:50 a.m., Ludlow, Mass. 9:55 a.m., Holyoke, Mass. 9:56 a.m., New Milford, Conn. 10:05 a.m., Naugatuck, Conn. 10:10 a.m., Shrewsbury, Mass. 10:23, Westfield, Mass. 10:30 a.m., Agawam, Mass. 10:33 a.m., Palmer, Mass. 11:00 a.m., Leicester, Mass. 11:05 a.m., Grafton, Mass. 12:00 p.m.., Uxbridge, Mass. 12:03 p.m., Cheshire, Mass. 1 p.m., Florence, Mass. 1:30 p.m.
