WESTFIELD – VIP Nail Salon opened last week at 47 Southwick Road with a full menu of services.
VIP, which is in the Yankee Village Plaza, is one of the only nail salons in that area of the city.
Owner Tommy Nguyen said his shop is clean and pays close attention to each customer’s needs.
“We have single-use kits,” he said, noting that the files used are opened for every customer, then thrown away.
“We sanitize tools,” he added, showing the sanitizing process used for metal tools, such as cuticle nippers, clippers and more.
VIP Nails offers five manicure stations as well as five pedicure stations, which are also cleaned between each use. Services include manicures starting at $12 and pedicures starting at $25, nail art starts at $5, mini pedicures for children are $16, with options for acrylics, wraps and more. Nguyen said his sister currently works with him and as business demands, he will hire additional employees.
VIP Nail is open Monday – Friday, 9 :30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
