Members of the Westfield Woman’s Club were treated to a morning reading of original works by the women veterans from the Soldier On program at Leeds. The Woman’s Club supports the 12 women veterans living on the grounds at the US Veterans Medical Center at Leeds, MA, with monthly visits, which includes special treats and a game of BINGO, and special events like the morning reading, luncheons, a trip to the beauty parlor, and a Christmas party to name a few. The reading was hosted by Noble Hospital which provided a lovely venue for the event and a delicious breakfast for all who attended. (Photo submitted)
