WESTFIELD – The Westfield Voc-Tec h High School boys’ soccer team will attempt to extend its season under first-year head coach Kyle Dulude.
The No. 9 Voc-Tech Tigers (9-5-1) will play at No. 8 Franklin Tech in the opening round of the Western Massachusetts Division III tournament (13-4-1) Saturday at 1 p.m.
Dulude is making his second straight appearance in the soccer tournament. Last year, he elevated the girls’ program to new heights by leading the Lady Tigers to their first postseason game in recent memory.
This year, he will attempt to lead a boys’ team, which recently hit its stride at the end of the regular season.
