Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2013
Erin M. McNamara, 41, of 33 Elm St., was released on $1,000 personal surety after she was arraigned on charges of assault and battery, vandalizing property and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon brought by Westfield police.
Michael T. Skroczky, 23, of 38 Buschmann Ave., was placed on pretrial probation for one month after he was arraigned on two charges of threatening to commit a crime and charges of making obscene telephone calls and vandalizing property brought by Southwick police. As probation conditions, Judge Robert Murphy ordered that Skroczky submit to mental heath evaluation and any treatment or medication prescribed; submit to an anger management evaluation and any follow up and to stay away form the Bella Rosa pizzeria and the Village pizzeria. A charge of larceny of property valued less than $250 was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
Matthew L. Daggett, 29, of 8 Conner Ave., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant guilty findings for charges of disorderly conduct and assault and battery on a police officer brought by Westfield police and the charges were continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was assessed $50.
Gary Harndon, 25, of 10 Princeton St., submitted to facts sufficient to warrant a guilty finding for a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order brought by Westfield police and the charge was continued without a finding with probation for three months. He was enjoined from making any threats or violence toward the victim and assessed $50. Charges of armed assault in a dwelling and home invasion were dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth and a charge of breaking and entering a building the night time with intent to commit a felony was not prosecuted due to insufficient evidence.
Johnathan Rojko, 24, of no fixed address in Springfield, saw a charge of violation of an abuse prevention order dismissed when the alleged victim asserted her Fifth Amendment protection and refused to testify.
Angel Luis Gomez, 28, of 67 Fordham St., Springfield, saw a charge of armed robbery not prosecuted after he was indicted and arraigned on the same charge in superior court.
Christian M. Burton-Hill, 28, of 40 Rittenhouse Terrace, Springfield, was held in lieu of $500 cash bail after he was arraigned on a charge of assault and battery brought by Westfield police.
Kevin Andrew Raposa, 53, of 665 McKinstry Ave., Chicopee, was held in lieu of $2,500 cash bail after he was arraigned on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (a subsequent offense) and a marked lanes violation brought by Westfield police.
