Westfield – Patricia M. Costigan, 56, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Northampton to Robert Fox and the late Elizabeth (Brock) Fox. She received her bachelor’s degree from Bay Path College as an adult. Patricia was employed as a mail handler for the US Postal Service Bulk Mail Center in Springfield. She was an avid participant in the Hampshire County Relay for Life, in memory of her sister and her nephew. Pat enjoyed country music concerts, going to the casinos, crocheting, but mostly family vacations in Lake Winnipesaukee. Patricia is survived by her husband of 39 years, Leonard J. Costigan of Westfield, her loving daughters, Tanya Costigan and her wife Jill of Westfield, Tammy L. Griswold and her husband Luke also of Westfield, her father Robert Fox of West Springfield, her sisters, Tina Fox of West Springfield, Sandra Mengel of Holyoke, Lisa Fox of Westfield, Barbara Fox of Huntington, and Gloria Fox of West Springfield; her cherished grandchildren, Rachel and Jason Bilodeau and Alexis M. Griswold. She also leaves many nieces and nephews, including Becky Silva who was like a daughter to her. She was predeceased by a sister Donna Silva. Visiting hours for Patricia will be held on Friday from 5-7PM in the Firtion Adams Funeral Service, 76 Broad St. Westfield. Burial will be private in Spring Grove Cemetery, Florence, MA.
