WESTFIELD – Patti Jo Rigg (Delsasso), 66, of Westfield MA passed away suddenly on Monday, May 18th, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Patti was born in Joliet IL on July 6th, 1959, daughter of Carmen and Marilyn (Wilson) Delsasso.
Over the years, Patti worked as a Paraprofessional within the Westfield and Russell Elementary School Systems, where she enjoyed working with children. She had many hobbies, which included: her annual birthday celebration at Hampton Beach with Rick, Christmas time (was her favorite) with the family, playing keno, coloring, puzzles (wall art), getting a new phone because “it broke,” and shopping. She longed to play pickle ball.
She will be missed by her longtime partner Rick Williams of Westfield MA; four daughters, Jennifer Guzman and her husband Edwin of Chicopee MA, Krista Coutinho and her husband Pedro of Holyoke MA, Tami Rigg and her boyfriend Gilberto Martinez, Kim Fox and her Fiancé Justin Iacovelli of Chester MA; grandchildren, Eric Dembinske, Aneidaliz Guzman, Skyler Mollison, Kayleigh Coutinho, Gavin Coutinho, Daxter Hughes, Blake (peanut) Hughes; great-grandchildren: Jimmy Jusino and Jey Jusino. Her loving brother and sisters, Dave Delsasso of Joliet IL, Vicki Redman and husband Dean of Fairhope AL, and Lori Luoma of Fairhope AL; many nieces and nephews as well as so many who considered and called her a second mom.
She is predeceased by her Mother Marilyn Delsasso, Brothers Brian and Danny Delsasso, and Brother-in-Law Chris Luoma.
A celebration of life will be held at a later time.
