WESTFIELD – Pauline Theresa (Malandra) Popovich passed away on the morning of Sunday, August 5, 2012 at the age of 85. Born on July 4, 1927 in Elmira, NY, she married her husband Sam on August 16, 1948.
The family has lived in Westfield since 1960. She was a 1944 graduate of Elmira Catholic H.S. and also attended Elmira College. She was a text book manager at the book store at Westfield State College. She also worked at the Hampden District Court for 13 years retiring in 1996.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her four children, Michael and his wife Cheryl of Westfield, Gary of Midlothian, VA, Lynn of Jensen Beach, FL, and Lisa of Denver, CO; her brother, Vincent of Warminster, PA and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass for Pauline will be held on Wednesday, August 8th at 12:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Church. Burial will follow in the Mass Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1390 Main Street, Agawam, MA at 2:00 p.m.
