WESTFIELD – The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission is planning tree and vegetation removal along its water transmission mains which runs through Westfield. This distance is the section of pipeline located between Hillside Road and Southwick Road. The Springfield Water and Sewer Commission owns and maintains a 100 foot wide pathway along the transmission mains.
Contractor North-Eastern Tree Service, Inc. will begin woody vegetation and tree removal work starting Wednesday, June 21 at 7:00 am, within the Drinking water transmission main property. This work will continue until its completion, weather permitting.
