WESTFIELD – The Westfield Little League softball and baseball seasons officially kicked off on Saturday.
The weather was picture perfect to set off the opening day of little league here in town as Westfield Little League held their opening day parade from South Middle School to Cross St. field where the opening day ceremonies took place.
Players from all ages represented their teams during the annual season starting ceremonies.
Soon after Mayor Brian Sullivan threw out his first pitch as Mayor, games were underway.
