Police: 3 injured, 1 arrested in Holyoke weekend shootings

HOLYOKE (AP) — Authorities said three people were shot over the weekend in Holyoke.
Police said the most recent shootings happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. One person was shot in the ankle and a second victim was shot in the thigh.
Police said a man was shot just before 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the area of Dwight and Linden Street.
Nineteen-year-old Devin Roman of Chicopee was arrested and charged with attempted murder and multiple firearms violations in the Saturday shooting. It’s unclear whether he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
No suspects were arrested in the Sunday shootings.
Police said the shootings were isolated incidents of violence and not related to the parade festivities. All three victims are expected to survive. Their identities weren’t released.
