12:12 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Springfield Road, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the operator’s license was found to be suspended, the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
9:24 p.m.: vandalism, Cycle Street a caller reports her vehicle was vandalized, the responding officer reports the caller said that she parked her car in her apartment building’s parking lot and later found something had been inserted into the keyhole, the caller said she suspects that a person with whom she has an ongoing issue is responsible but asks only that the incident be documented and does not require a formal report;
12:28 p.m.: breaking and entering, Jefferson Street, a resident came to the station to reports her child’s bicycle was stolen, the responding officer reports the complainant said that a bike which was last seen April 20 is now missing from her garage;
12:35 p.m.: found property, Western Avenue, a caller reports a large irrigation hose is in the roadway, the responding officer reports a commercial hose was found on the grass adjacent to Western Avenue and the DPW was notified to remove it;
2:47 p.m.: lost property, Hillside Road, a resident came to the station to report she lost her wallet, the responding officer the woman said that she believes her wallet was lost while she was walking from her home on Hillside Road to the downtown section of the city;
5:08 p.m.: fire, Holland Avenue, a caller reports a fire on the porch probably has been extinguished, the responding firefighters report a small mulch fire had spread to a porch lattice but was extinguished without incident;
5:36 p.m.: animal complaint, Meadow Street a caller reports a possibly rabid raccoon is attempting to traverse various Meadow Street yards, the responding officer reports he disposed of the animal, a use of force form was filed;
7:05 p.m.: suspicious person, Mechanic Street, a caller reports three youths are shooting what she believes to be BB guns, the responding officer reports two boys were shooting a BB gun safely under the supervision of the mother of one of the boys;
9:15 p.m.: breaking and entering, Main Street, a caller reports her home was broken into and property was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that she had been away for about two and a half hours and returned to find a first floor window wide open, the caller said that the window may not have been secured when she left, a laptop computer, jewelry and a lockbox were reported to be missing.
