1:26 p.m.: Property lost, walk-in. Police received a report of a possible lost handgun somewhere within the city. The person who came in claimed that they were at a couple different locations throughout the day and are “unsure where it is,” according to police. Police are investigating.

1:35 p.m.: Accident, Loring Lane and Western Avenue. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a city vehicle and a 2001 Toyota Avalon. No injuries were reported and no tows were requested.

2:32 p.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a rear tire coming off of a vehicle, striking another vehicle in the oncoming lane. A tow truck was requested but no injuries were reported.

2:44 p.m.: Vandalism, Court Street and Broad Street. Police received a report of a window that was “smashed.” Police are investigating and there was no clear sign as to what occurred at the time of the report, according to police.

2:56 p.m.: Larceny, Stop and Shop, Main Street. Police received a report of an alleged stolen purse at Stop and Shop. Security was attempting to get footage. Police are investigating but no further information was available.
