4:40 a.m.: Past breaking and entering, Southampton Road. Police received a report from a shopowner that when he came to his store he noticed that someone broke in. He said that the power was out for a while and that could have been when they did it. The power was not reported out by Westfield Gas and Electric, however they did find that the wires running to the meter were cut. Police reported that the ATM in the store was broken into and the contents were taken. No other information available.
9:21 a.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Elm Street. Police received a report of a single-car crash that involved a 1994 Buick Century. Police reported that the driver was attempting to make a left turn, but in doing so they struck a traffic light and knocked it over. The vehicle needed to be towed, but no injuries were reported.
12:29 p.m.: Larceny, Southampton Road. A machine shop on Southampton Road reported that a keycard that is used to run one of their machines was apparently taken. There were no suspects at the time and no additional information provided by police.
1:07 p.m.: Larceny, Southwick Road. Police received a report from a resident on Southwick Road, claiming that his medications and $2,000 were stolen from his apartment. He believes that he knows the suspect. Police did not make any arrests.
3:57 p.m.: Shoplifting, Wal-Mart Springfield Road. Police received a report of a female caught shoplifting by Wal-Mart and that the staff has her in custody. The woman had no identification on her. The woman reportedly was stealing a pair of jeans. Police filed a criminal complaint against her.
