Major crime and incident report

1:34 a.m.: Breaking and entering, Jefferson Street. Police received a report from a woman who found several items on her counter, including a file, screw driver and propane torch, as well as items that were stolen from her home. Police had a possible suspect, but no arrests were made at the time of the report.

2:43 p.m.: Medical emergency, Bullens Field. Police received a report of a 14-year-old at the baseball field who was having a seizure. Police reported that by the time the ambulance had arrived, the child was awake and breathing and no longer seizing. Westfield Fire transported the patient to Baystate Noble via ambulance.

4:53 p.m.: Accident, Southwick Road. Police received a report of a woman’s windshield that was broken, but she was unsure how it happened. As police investigated, it was found that a vehicle may have came through the front lawn at some point, then crashed into a fence, which struck the vehicle and damaged it. Police had no description of the vehicle or suspects at the time of the report.
