7:02 a.m.:
accident, Arrow Prescription Center, 427 N. Elm St., two-vehicle accident, caller said she tried to exchange information but then other driver left saying he broke his wrist and was going to hospital;
7:17 a.m.: vandalism, Billy C’s Jerky, 271 Elm St., caller reported that someone had thrown rocks through the front window of the business overnight;
9:02 a.m.: accident, First United Methodist Church, 16 Court St., two-vehicle accident, no injuries, no tows;
1:41 p.m.: accident, Dunkin’ Donuts, 127 N. Elm St., minor property damage, one vehicle towed;
1:42 p.m.: vandalism motor vehicle, Mechanic Street, caller reported that her tires appeared to have been slashed sometime overnight;
3:52 p.m.: report of fire/smoke, TD North Bank, 60 Main St., dual response, brush fire extinguished;
5:01 p.m.: accident, vicinity of Holiday Inn Express, 39 Southampton Road, a tractor trailer struck an electrical box in the area and then parked in the short term parking lot next to the Holiday Inn, driver walked toward the electrical box where there were exposed wires, half of the Holiday Inn Express building had no power, Westfield Gas & Electric notified;
7:02 p.m.: breaking and entering motor vehicle, Stop & Shop Supermarket, 57 Main St., caller reported that around 2:30 p.m. somebody entered his vehicle and stole his cigarettes and wallet;
8:21 p.m.: motor vehicle arrest, Harvard Street, police attempted to stop a vehicle that was speeding and driver tried to evade police by pulling into a residence, Mihail Dobrin, 22, of 96 Southworth St., West Springfield was arrested on charges of failing to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, motor vehicle lights violation and speeding;
9:06 p.m.: burglary/breaking and entering, Feeding Hills Road, caller reported she discovered jewelry missing from her jewelry box but has no idea when the items went missing;
10:28 p.m.: college-related disturbance, 85 Orange St., #1FL, services rendered;
10:40 p.m.: college-related disturbance, 85 Orange St., #2FL, services rendered;
10:57 p.m.: property found, Westfield Police Department, resident brought in a checkbook that he/she found in Walmart, police attempted to call the person named on the checks;
11:09 p.m.: college-related disturbance, 64 E. Silver St., verbal warning;
11:27 p.m.: college-related disturbance, Court House Square Apartments, 27 Washington St., Apt. #203, peace restored;
11:27 p.m.: college-related disturbance, 85 Orange St., Apt. #1FL, ordinance violation issued;
11:33 p.m.: college-related disturbance, Court House Square Apartments, 27 Washington St., Apt. #206, verbal warning;
11:38 p.m.: college-related disturbance, Court House Square Apartments, 27 Washington St., Apt. #003, verbal warning.
