Major crime and incident report

10:57 a.m.: Vandalism motor vehicle, Elm Street. Police received a report of tires reportedly slashed while a person was at work. However, no video or witness were were available.

12:43 p.m.: Shoplifting, Big Y East Main Street. Police received a report of an alleged shoplifting incident that occurred three days prior. It was reported that Red Bull was taken.

4:55 p.m.: Accident, North Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that struck a deer. No injuries reported and no tow truck requested.

11:17 p.m.: Accident, Little River Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle accident. A 2012 Volvo S60 and a 1999 Toyota Camry were involved. No injuries reported and no tow trucks requested, but black ice was reported.

6:15 p.m.: Traffic or motor vehicle complaint and arrest, Southampton Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that was reportedly traveling in the breakdown lane. Police found the vehicle on Southampton Road. Police reported the operator, Glenn P. Ligus, 41, of Springfield, had three arrest warrants and was arrested on them.
