9:31 a.m.: suspicious activity, Ely Street a caller reports a snow marker pole was found pushed into her boyfriend’s door handle and her mailbox has been filled with ice and snow, no damage resulted, the caller does not require a formal report but wants the unusual incidents to be documented;
10:30 a.m.: animal complaint, Westfield Animal Shelter, 178 Apremont Way, a woman came to the shelter to surrender an eight-month-old pitbull mix dog;
12:14 p.m.: arrest, Margerie Street, a suspect was arrested in the course of an ongoing investigation, see story in the Tuesday edition of The Westfield News;
1:17 p.m.: breaking and entering, Woronoco Avenue, a caller reports her vehicle was broken into overnight Dec. 21, the caller said that nothing was taken and no formal report is necessary but said she wants the incident to be documented;
4:56 p.m.: arrest, South Maple Street, a suspect was arrested in the course of an ongoing investigation, see story in the Tuesday edition of The Westfield News;
7:23 p.m.: arrest, Margerie Street, an officer investigating a property damage accident reports that a person he encountered was found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant, Amanda Marie Cornelius, 28, of 20 Margerie St., was arrested on the warrant issued in 2014 by Westfield District Court.
