8:30 a.m.: Vandalism, motor vehicle, Holland Avenue. Police received a report from a resident that their vehicle was reportedly vandalized with spraypaint and eggs, as well as having the tires slashed. Police were investigating but no arrests were made. No word on if this was connected to the vandalized vehicle from the day before.
1:21 p.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road. Police received a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu with airbag deployment. According to the report, the vehicle struck a guard rail. Westfield Fire paramedics were dispatched to the scene for possible injuries, but none were reported. The vehicle had to be towed, however.
