1:30 a.m. Motor vehicle violation and arrest, North Elm Street. Police reported that they stopped a vehicle after it allegedly had a rear license plate out. Police reported that the operator, Andrew Pierce, 32, of Westfield, also allegedly had a suspended driver’s license. Police took Pierce into custody, and also reported that inside the vehicle they allegedly found a folded paper with what they reported to be MDMA. Police arrested Pierce and charged him with operating motor vehicle with license suspended, number plate violation and possession class B drug.

10:01 a.m. Identity Fraud. Police received report from a walk-in of attempts to open a bank account under their personal information.

11:34 a.m. Accident, Main Street and Little River Road, involving 2006 Chevrolet SE HHR and 2016 Honda SE Accord. Report taken.

3:57 p.m. Fraud. Police received report from walk-in that they bought a vehicle on ebay for $1500. They reported sending the money for payment then realizing it was not an ebay transaction, and believed it was a scam. Report taken.
