1:50 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Road, a patrol officer reports he observed a vehicle operating with a faulty tail light and stopped the car, the officer reports the operator was found to be unlicensed and a criminal complaint was filed;
3:25 a.m.: breaking and entering, Pine Street, a caller reports he observed a group of three teens who may all have been girls attempt to break into his car, the caller said that the teens fled when he yelled at them, the responding officer reports the caller gave chase but the teens eluded him, see next entry;
5:41 a.m.: breaking and entering, Pine Street, a caller reports her vehicle was entered overnight and loose change may have been stolen, the responding officer reports the woman said that she usually locks her car but was not certain that she had done so in this instance, the woman said that another household vehicle may have also been broken into, see 1:42 p.m. entry;
6:46 a.m.: motor vehicle theft, Evergreen Manor, 919 Southampton Road, a caller reports his motorcycle was stolen overnight, the responding officer reports the victim said that the motorcycle had been parked as usual the night before but was found to be gone in the morning;
8:21 a.m.: animal complaint, Duggan Lane, an animal control officer reports she took custody of a red-tailed hawk and transported it to the animal shelter for transfer to a wildlife rehabilitator;
9:11 a.m.: fraud, Woodland Avenue, a caller reports she was defrauded, the responding officer reports the victim suffered losses to a credit account, the investigation is incomplete;
1:42 p.m.: breaking and entering, Pine Street, a caller reports her vehicle was entered overnight, the responding officer reports the vehicle was unlocked and noted that there were other similar incidents reported on Pine Street.
