7:31 p.m.: narcotics investigation, Springfield Road a caller from a Springfield Road department store reports about 15 bags of heroin were found in a bathroom, the responding officer reports the bags of white powder were transported to the station for analysis by the State Police laboratory;
8:08 a.m.: vandalism, Mill Street, a call from a pool and spa company reports that a hot tub stored at a Mill Street address was vandalized, the responding officer reports a gallon of paint was poured into the hot tub;
12:11 p.m.: disturbance, Woodcliff Drive, a caller reports an issue with two persons to whom she had been renting a room, the responding officer reports the tenants were no longer welcome and he provided them a courtesy transport to an East Main Street address;
1:30 p.m.: commercial vehicle inspection, Union Street, a Traffic Bureau officer reports that a tractor trailer unit was placed out of service after a commercial vehicle inspection due to violations found, the operator was found to be the subject of an outstanding warrant issue by the Springfield District Court in 2016, Jonathan Maxwell Houle, 34, of 22 Ridgewood St., Holyoke, was arrested on the warrant;
2:27 p.m.: larceny East Main Street, a representative of an East Main Street merchant came to the station to complain of a serial shoplifter, the responding officer reports an investigation was initiated;
4:48 p.m.: incapacitated person, Jefferson Street, a caller reports a woman is stumbling as she walks on Jefferson Street, the responding officer reports the woman was found to be highly intoxicated and nobody could be found to care for her, the woman was placed in protective custody;
7:34 p.m.: found property, Elm Street, a person came to the station to surrender a car key found in front of the Westfield Athenaeum;
8:56 p.m.: animal complaint, 104th Fighter Wing, 175 Falcon Drive, a caller from the air national guard base requests an animal control officer to deal with an owl stuck in a barbed wire fence, the responding ACO reports the bird was transported to the municipal animal shelter;
10:20 p.m.: liquor law violation, Summer Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
10:31 p.m.: liquor law violation, School Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
11:04 p.m.: liquor law violation, Mechanic Street, a community policing officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued;
11:20 p.m.: liquor law violation, School Street, a patrol officer reports a liquor law violation, a city ordinance violation citation was issued.
