12:39 a.m.: disturbance, Thomas Street at Mechanic Street, Westfield State University police report a past fight, the responding officer reports that allegedly four male parties were involved but only one was found at the scene, the man appeared to have minor injuries but declined medical assistance;
1:32 a.m.: disturbance, Spring Street, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that peace was restored;
8:19 a.m.: larceny, Clinton Avenue, a resident came to the station to report that her jewelry had been stolen, the responding officer reports that the woman said that jewelry valued at almost $7,000 had been stolen from her home over the past few weeks, the woman said there were no signs of forcible entry and that she suspects a family member may be involved, an investigation was initiated;
9:18 a.m.: found property, Day Avenue, a resident came to the station to surrender a purple girl’s Magna bike, the bike was stored for safe keeping;
3:44 p.m.: counterfeiting, Elm Street, a supervisory officer reports he was advised by the manager of a gas station and convenience store that a counterfeit $20 bill was discovered in the register, the store manager said that he does not know when or by whom the bogus bill was tendered;
4:19 p.m.: larceny, East Main Street, a caller reports that a male party attempted to steal meat from a supermarket, the responding officer reports a store employee challenged the suspect as he was leaving with a cart loaded with meat and the man abandoned the cart and fled;
10:36 p.m.: disturbance, Russell Road, a caller reports a college related disturbance, the responding officers report that peace was restored.
