12:13 a.m.: Noise complaint, Meadow Street. Police received a report from a tenant at an adjacent apartment that one of their neighbors is listening to music loudly and disturbing the peace. Police talked to David R. Smith, 56, of Westfield, about turning down the music and he refused, and he also attempted to refuse police from entering. The police arrested Smith and charged him with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest.
12:19 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report from a resident who claimed that a significant amount of money was stolen from their home. According to police, there were no locks on the home, as well as no suspects or witnesses at the time of the report. Also unknown how much money was stolen exactly.
8:14 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Franklin Street. Police initially stopped a vehicle after finding that it had a registration revoked and no insurance. Upon inputting the driver’s information, they found that he, Eric K. Bushey, 46, of Becket, had two warrants out for his arrest. Bushey was arrested on both warrants.
