3:38 p.m.: Attempted breaking and entering, Southwick Road. Police received a report of a possible breaking and entering attempt at an apartment on Southwick Road. The alleged victim claimed that there was damage on the outside of a window, which is where access was attempted. However, no entry was made and nothing was stolen. Police were investigating.

5:06 p.m.: Fraud, walk-in. Police received a report from an alleged fraud victim who claimed that they had an issue with a check that may have been fraudulent. It was reportedly a scam over eBay, wherein the person sent a check larger than requested for an item and requested money back, which would then give the person access to the victim’s checking account. No money was lost and police were investigating.

8:53 p.m.: Larceny, Summer Street. Police received a report of a possible theft of a silverware set from a residence. According to the alleged victim, the silverware set was a 50-piece sterling set, but no value was immediately given by police. Police were investigating and they did have a suspect. No arrests were made at the time of the report.
