5:51 a.m.: Breaking and entering, motor vehicle, North Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that was broken into through an unlocked door. The doors were reportedly found open by the owner and the only items missing were keys.

6 a.m.: Breaking and entering, motor vehicle, North Road. Police received another report of a vehicle that was broken into also through an unlocked door. A backpack and sunglasses were stolen and police believe the two break-ins were related.

10:03 a.m.: Shoplifting, Big Y, East Main Street. Police received a report of a female who reportedly left with an unknown amount of Red Bull that was not paid for. Police were given a license plate of a vehicle she entered and they are currently investigating the matter.

3:58 p.m.: Larceny, Main Street. Police received a report of four youths that reportedly stole a package from a porch of a home. Police found them and arrested Ezequiel Encarnacion, 18, and Ricardo Bratini-Perez, 18, both from Springfield. Encarnacion was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property under $250 and Bratini-Perez was charged with larceny under $250 and also had a warrant out for his arrest.

7:44 p.m.: Burglary and breaking and entering, George Street. Police received a report from a resident who claimed that when they came home they found that a variety of electronics were missing from their home. Police did not report any signs of forced entry, however. Police are investigating.
