8:34 a.m.: suspicious item, Free Street at Thomas Street, a caller reports a lunch bag at the intersection seems to be out-of-place and suspicious, the responding officer reports the Tupperware and yogurt were not a threat and may have fallen from a passing vehicle;
9:05 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired and non-renewable, the car was towed from the scene;
10:52 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, North Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to be expired, the car was towed to the police impound yard and the operator was provided a courtesy transport to the station;
1:17 p.m.: breaking and entering, Park Street, a caller reports that a window was broken and the door of a house was open but she has not inspected the residence, the responding officer reports nothing was found to be missing and there is no evidence that entry was attempted or gained;
3:05 p.m.: weather complaint, Miller Street, a caller reports residents are pushing the snow left in their driveways by a plow back into the street, the responding officer reports he spoke with a man who said that he didn’t know he wasn’t allowed to push snow into the street, the officer reports he educated the man who agreed to push the snow back out of the street;
7:07 p.m.: officer wanted, Phelps Avenue, a caller reports she observed her former boyfriend leaving the area of her home and she believes that the man may have been attempting to break into the basement of the house, the responding officer reports he found that the man may have had a legitimate reason to be at the house and there is no evidence to suggest that he attempted to gain entry;
7:41 p.m.: shoplifting, Main Street, a caller from a Main Street drug store reports an alarm sounded as a customer exited the store and the woman fled when asked to empty her bags, the responding officer reports no suspect was found and it is not known if anything was stolen.
