12:04 a.m.: vandalism, Central Street, a patrol officer reports he observed a male party with a street sign, the officer reports the man admitted uprooting the sign, a criminal complaint was filed and the sign was seized for transfer to the DPW;
12:14 a.m.: violation of a protective order, Colonial Pine Acres, 50 Southampton Road, a caller reports her former boyfriend has sent her threatening text messages, the responding officer reports he learned that the suspect is the defendant of a protective order and the text messages are a violation of the “No contact” clause of the order, a criminal complaint was filed;
1:06 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Southampton Road at Egleston Road, a traffic bureau officer reports he observed a vehicle operating erratically and when he stopped the vehicle he detecting indications of alcohol intoxication, the operator failed a field sobriety test, Ryan P. Donah, 33, of 34 Martin St., Holyoke, was arrested or operating under the influence of liquor and for a marked lanes violation;
2:40 a.m.: Forest Glen Drive, a caller reports that snowmobiles operating on the Springfield pipeline are disturbing his peace, the responding officer reports he found a truck and trailer but the snow vehicles were not in the area, the trailer was found to have revoked registration and was towed to the police impound yard;
2:48 a.m.; accident, East Mountain Road at Eastview Drive, a caller reports a vehicle left the roadway and is stuck in a snowbank, the responding officer reports a routine check revealed that the operator’s license had been suspended, a criminal complaint was filed and the vehicle was towed to the police impound yard;
8:31 a.m.: disturbance, Fairway Condos, 549 Russell Road, a caller reports her sister called her and said that her boyfriend was assaulting her, the responding officer reports the victim said that the disturbance had been verbal and the man had left after punching a hole in her wall, the woman declined to pursue criminal charges;
8:56 a.m.: weather complaint, Lincoln Street, a caller reports an unshoveled sidewalk, the responding officer reports the caller was willing to clear the sidewalk to alleviate the current issue and was advised to contact the building inspector in an effort to determine which bank owns the property;
1:21 p.m.: assault, Woronoco Avenue, a caller reports she was assaulted, the responding officer reports the caller said that while at a party she encountered two sisters with whom she has previously had issues and they assaulted her by striking her face repeatedly;
5:31 p.m.: city ordinance violations, East Bartlett Street, a community policing officer reports city ordinance violation citations were issued at four East Bartlett Street addresses.
