12:36 p.m.: violation of a protective order, Bates Street, a resident came to the station to complain that her former husband violated a protective order, the responding officer reports the woman said that her former husband had sent her a text message saying that he was going to leave cupcakes for their daughter’s school event on her steps or, if the door was not locked, inside her residence, the woman said that the man had been told to deliver the cupcakes to the school, the man subsequently went to the woman’s residence, a criminal complaint was filed;
1:48 p.m.: assault, Sanford Apartments, 330 Elm St., a resident came to the station to report she was assaulted by a known person, the responding officer reports that during an argument with her boyfriend about missing medications the man struck her face and attempted to prevent her from leaving, the woman was advised of her protective order options and transported to Noble Hospital at her request, a criminal complaint was filed;
1:55 p.m.: vandalism, East Mountain Road, a resident came to the station to report her vehicle was vandalized, the responding officer reports the woman said that her home has been targeted three times by a vandal who has apparently used a BB or pellet gun and she has recently discovered that the windshield of her vehicle has been damaged by an apparent BB or pellet impact, the woman identified two people she believes may harbor animosity toward her family;
7:30 p.m.: disturbance, Henry’s Trailer Park, 868 Southampton Road, a caller reports a known intoxicated person is trying to assault her and she has barricaded herself in a bedroom, the responding officer reports the caller said that she had argued with her boyfriend about use of a vehicle and the man pushed her to the floor and threatened to break her neck, the suspect had left the area prior to his arrival and the woman was advised of her protective order options, the woman called again at 8:04 p.m. to report the man had returned and the responding officer reports he found the man on Southampton Road, the man denied laying hands on the victim, Christopher Mann, 45, of 868 Southampton Road, was arrested for assault and battery in a domestic relationship;
7:46 p.m.: assault, Union Avenue, a caller reports that her landlord assaulted her and left the scene, the responding officer reports the caller said that she had an altercation with her landlord who was upset because she had complained about the condition of her apartment and the man punched her chest, a criminal complaint was filed;
8:12 p.m.: assist citizen, Southwick Road, a caller reports he is locked out of his running vehicle, the responding firefighters report entry was made;
11:06 p.m.: liquor law violation, Clark Street, a community policing officer reports he observed four male parties exit a vehicle carrying what appeared to be beverage containers, the officer reports the young men discarded their containers when they saw the officer, the containers were found to have alcohol residue, each man was issued a city ordinance violation citation;
11:34 p.m.: liquor law violation, Clark Street, a community policing officer reports he and another CP officer observed two young women on Clark Street and one was carrying a heavily loaded pocketbook, the officer engaged the women in conversation and one eventually acknowledged that she had alcohol in her purse, a city ordinance violation citation was issued.
