Major crime and incident report

4:46 a.m.:
burglary/breaking and entering, Circle K – Irving, 1400 Russell Road, employee reported arriving at work and finding front window broken and alarm sounding, attempt made to access safe, suspect wearing gloves and dressed in camo seen on surveillance video;
6:45 a.m.: breaking and entering motor vehicle, West School Street, resident reported vehicle broken into overnight, window smashed, GPS unit valued at $60-$70 and a backpack with books valued at $180 taken;
8:14 a.m.: brush fire, 1430 Russell Road, dual response, extinguished;
9:46 a.m.: larceny, Arbor’s Apartments, 40 Court St., woman reported that $90 was stolen from her wallet the day before while she was working at this location;
1:04 p.m.: shoplifting, Walmart, 141 Springfield Road, Nicholas G. Williams, 30, of 438 Springfield St., Agawam and Kristen M. Russell, 42, of the same address, both arrested on charges of larceny over $250 and possession of heroin;
2:47 p.m.: accident, O’Connell Convenience Store, 259 N. Elm St., no injuries, no tows;
4:12 p.m.: suspicious person, Big Y, 475 E. Main St., investigated;
5:15 p.m.: accident, 422 N. Elm St. At 1 Arch Road, two vehicles towed, patient refused transport;
10:11 p.m.: accident, 4 S. Maple St. at 42 W. Silver St., no injuries, no tows;
10:36 p.m.: vandalism, school department maintenance warehouse, 32 W. Silver St., building check found two windows with pried screens, one window broken, no entry made;
10:54 p.m.: officer wanted, Elm Street Mobil, 181 Elm St., man in store “tweeking” and overheating after ingesting two bags of heroin and taking it nasally, transported to Baystate Noble Hospital.
