12:18 a.m.: trespassing, Chapman Playground, a patrol officer reports he encountered a male party practicing basketball, the man was advised of the pertinent city ordinances and left the area;
12:55 a.m.: larceny, Sackett Street, a caller reports his bicycle was stolen, the responding officer reports the caller said that his bike was stolen on Sackett Street about 10 p.m.;
2:35 p.m.: disturbance, Monroe Street, a caller reports she was assaulted by her former boyfriend, the responding officer reports the caller said that her boyfriend came to her residence and an argument developed over relationship issues, the woman said that the man became upset and took a telephone from the table and struck her face with it, the woman declined medical assistance but said she wanted to pursue criminal charges, a criminal complaint was filed;
3:32 p.m.: breaking and entering, Meadow Street, a caller reports her home was broken into, the responding officer reports the caller said that she returned home to find forcible entry had been made and the apartment had been ransacked, the woman said a threatening note was found, the case was referred to the detective bureau;
5:34 p.m.: traffic complaint, Feeding Hills Road, a caller reports a fire hydrant is open and water is pouring from it, the responding firefighters report the water flow was stopped;
6:07 p.m.: larceny, Spruce Circle, a resident came to the station to report the registration plate on his trailer was stolen, the responding officer reports that between 24-27 June the registration plate was cut from his trailer while it was stored in his back yard;
7:11 p.m.: animal complaint, Pequot Point Road, a caller reports that while she was walking her dog a pit bull dog at a nearby house jumped its fence and bit her dog, the responding officer reports he attempted to speak with the offending dog’s owner but nobody was at home, the case was referred to the animal control officer;
8:19 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Union Street at Eastwood Drive, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the vehicle’s registration was found to have been revoked for lack of insurance, the car was towed to the police impound yard.
