12:18 p.m.: Officer wanted, Southampton Road. Police received a report that a dispute was happening between two co-workers. One of the co-workers allegedly stole the other’s phone, and afterward allegedly made threats toward him. Police made no arrests.

7:34 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation arrest, Union Avenue and Railroad Avenue. Police attempted to stop a vehicle for speeding, and the vehicle took off. Police proceeded to chase the vehicle and while in pursuit, police reported that the driver swapped positions with his passenger so that way she was then driving. Police were able to stop the vehicle a short time later and arrested Francisco Jesus Echevarria, 18, of Westfield, and charged him with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failing to stop for police, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. 11:20 p.m.: Robbery, Fresco Food Market, North Road. Police received a report of a burglary alarm going off at the store. Upon arriving, police found that a window was smashed and that over 100 packs of cigarettes were stolen, in addition to cash. Police had a description of the suspect and put out a request for all local police departments to be on the look out for a suspect. Holyoke Police reported that they had a person matching the description selling cigarettes in their city. Information was passed along to the detective bureau, but no arrests were made at the time of this report.
