12:24 a.m.: Larceny and arrest, walk-in. Police received a report from a walk-in who said that their cell phone was stolen. While police were taking a report, police noticed that the one making the report, Taylor Parker-William Demers, 23, of Westfield, had a warrant out for his arrest. Police arrested Demers.

8:14 a.m.: Medical emergency, William Street. Police responded with Westfield Fire for a male who was unconscious and wedged between a bed and a wall. Caller could not confirm if the male was breathing. Police were eventually able to gather that the male had a needle next to him and was not breathing, according to the caller. Police and fire attempted to resuscitate the victim and brought him to Baystate Noble Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

2:23 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Notre Dame Street. Police responded to Notre Dame Street for a one-car accident involving a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Police found that the driver, who was the only occupant, drove off the roadway for an unspecified reason and crashed into a telephone pole. The driver was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital by Westfield Fire for medical evaluation. No charges filed.

6:50 p.m.: Larceny, Union Street. Police received a report from someone who lives on Union Street that her room mate had stolen her debit card and made approximately $500 worth of transactions with it. Police had no arrest at the time of the report.
