6:14 a.m.: Motor vehicle violation and arrest, Springfield Road. Police stopped Miguel Lamberty, 37, of Hartford, for going 58 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. While stopped, police also found Lamberty to have a revoked license. Police arrested him and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a license revoked and speeding.

12:55 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a complaint from a resident who said that their prescription medication that arrives by mail was stolen. He did not witness the crime, but according to police the medication was not there when it was supposed to be. No arrests or additional information available at the time of the report.

9:47 p.m.: Medical emergency, Edgewood Street. Police received a report to assist the Westfield Fire Department with a person who may have overdosed on heroin. Police arrived and the man was on the ground of the bathroom, unconscious. Eventually, police and fire were able to gain entry and the person was awoken. He said that he was tired from work. The man was transported to Baystate Noble Hospital and police reported it as a heroin overdose.
