It was a mostly quiet day for police that involved multiple car accidents.
12:39 a.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Tannery Road. Police received a report of a 1999 Chevrolet Lumina that drove off the road and into a telephone pole. Everyone was out of the vehicle before police arrived. Police reported that there were minor injuries and airbag deployment, which resulted in one person transported to the hospital.
1:29 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, hit and run, East Main Street. Police received a report from someone who witnessed a hit and run accident. They reported that a 2004 Toyota Tundra struck a 2003 Dodge Durango that was parked in a parking lot. The damage was minor and no one was in the vehicle at the time. Police were unable to locate the suspect’s vehicle.
7 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Union Street. Police received a report of a minor motor vehicle accident involving a 2007 Dodge Caravan and a 2007 Chevrolet Impala. No injuries were reported.
