Major crime and incident report
Monday, June 15, 2015
1:30 a.m.:
disabled motor vehicle, Deni Mart, 121 North Elm Street, person transported to residence;
10:03 a.m.: larceny, Dox Road, citizen came to report that a person had borrowed lawn care equipment which has not been returned, officer reports speaking with the borrower and that the items were returned, services rendered;
12:47 p.m.: property found, Franklin Street, Citgo station, clerk reports wallet left in store last week, clerk has been waiting for owner to return property inadvertently left behind, officer reports owner is a resident of Easthampton, wallet contained cash, property tagged and owner notified (Tuesday morning) to come to the station to recover his property;
1:39 a.m.: suspicious activity, Victoria Drive, caller reports glass of front storm door shattered, officer reports no entry made into residence;
2:17 p.m.: larceny, 126 Union St., registration plate removed from vehicle, officer reports information entered into the Registry of Motor Vehicles data base;
4:12 p.m.: harassing phone calls, Rider Road, citizen reports that a man is sending him threatening text messages, officer reports dispute between homeowner and a flooring contractor, who was texting homeowner, officer attempted to contact contractor, homeowner called back to report that a compromise had been reached and there will be no further issues;
10:12 p.m.: suspicious activity, Berkshire Industries, 109 Apremont Way, parol officer reports activity inside the building, officer reports locating a subject, subject leases space in the building and was working after hours, services rendered.
