11:23 a.m.: Larceny, 1 East Silver St., Big Y Supermarket. Police received a report from Big Y security that on May 23 there was a potential shoplifter that stole energy drinks from the store. Police received a name from security of a potential suspect, but no arrests were made.

3:30 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Holyoke Road. Police received a report of a vehicle that struck a mailbox and fire hydrant on Holyoke Road, then drove between a 10-wheeler and proceeded down North Elm Street. Later, at around 3:42 p.m. police find a vehicle with front-end damage to it on Union Street. According to police, the driver of the vehicle appeared to be intoxicated. Police arrested Rhonda L. Guevin, 42, of West Springfield, and charged her with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a vehicle and leaving the scene of property damage.

6:37 p.m.: Animal complaint, Sterling Street. Police received a report from a resident on Sterling Street that a neighbor’s dog was attacked by another dog in the area. Animal control was requested and police were directed toward the area of Coolidge Avenue for the other dog. No arrests were reported.

7:37 p.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a walk-in complaint of a bike that was stolen on Meadow Street. No arrests were made at the time of the report.
