12:51 a.m.: Suspicious activity, Mechanic Street. Police received a report of four college-age males causing a disturbance on Mechanic Street. They reportedly had a street sign and were hitting windows, as well as throwing the sign. Police found the group and arrested Benjasmin Chace, 21, from Freetown, Mass., and charged him with disturbing the peace.

2:34 a.m.: Vandalism, Union Street. Police received a report that a person’s car’s tires were slashed on Union Street. The person did not know when or who slashed the tires. Police had no other information at the time of the report.

8:04 a.m.: Motor vehicle violation and drug seizure, Franklin Street. Police reported that a vehicle was initially stopped due to a lack of an inspection sticker, but upon further investigation police reported the driver was found to have an expired driver’s license, as well as an unspecified amount of marijuana on him. Police reportedly seized the marijuana and had the vehicle towed, but no arrest was made.

12:09 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Southwick Road. Police received a report of a minor accident involving a 2011 Hyundai Elantra and a 2015 Subaru Legacy. No injuries were reported, as well as no airbag deployment.

2:56 p.m.: Motor vehicle accident, Russell Road. Police received a report of an accident involving a 1999 Ford F150 and a 2014 Volkswagen SE Golf. There were no injuries or airbag deployment noted, but one vehicle required a tow.

8 p.m.: Trailer fire, Montgomery Road. Police received a report of a small trailer that held furniture that caught on fire. Police were informed that the fire was out, but the wheels were still hot and the caller was concerned about a possible brush fire. No information on how the fire began.
