6:54 a.m.: Property damage, Park Square. Police found that around Park Square there were several pieces of city trash cans and some decor that were damaged. Police on scene reported that a tractor trailer appeared to have run them over, removed the items from under the vehicle and then left the scene. No other information at the time of the report.

1:58 p.m.: Motor vehicle vandalism, East Main Street. Police received a report of a vehicle that was painted on with spray paint. The owner of the vehicle told police that he allegedly had an altercation with another individual over a parking space and suspects that they did it. Police however, made no arrests.

2:27 p.m.: Larceny, North Elm Street. A business on North Elm Street reported to police that while counting the cash in a drawer, it was found that $2,298 was missing. Police did not make any arrests at the time of the report.

7:38 p.m.: Motor vehicle violation arrest, School Street. Police received a call from an officer in an unmarked vehicle that he saw Michelle Hall, 45, of Westfield, operating a vehicle that hit a curb. Another officer arrived and according to police, Hall failed a field sobriety test. Police arrested Hall on charges of operating under the influence, marked lanes violation and negligent operation of a vehicle. Police also had animal control respond because a dog was in the vehicle and had to be taken into custody.
