1:25 a.m.: Accident, Pochassic Street. Police received a report of a 1998 Honda Accord that reportedly drove off the road and reportedly struck a tree. Upon police arrival, they reported that there was no operator of the vehicle at the site of the crash. Police searched for the driver, including their residence, where they eventually found the operator. According to police, the driver reportedly had no phone and thus the driver walked home. Police reported that the driver was driving too fast, which was allegedly the cause of the crash.

4:01 a.m.: Suspicious, Woronoco Avenue and Broad Street. Police reportedly investigated a suspicious vehicle that was circling the area, previously seen on Broad Street. Police reported that while asking the driver for credentials, they “noticed several tools and jacks in plain view along with both rear seats in the down position.” Police reported that the driver was given a citation for failing to display their front plate on the vehicle.

6:34 p.m.: Accident, Sunnyside Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2004 Ford Taurus and a 2005 Dodge Neon. There were no injuries reported but both vehicles were towed from the scene.

11:17 p.m.: Accident, hit-and-run, Stratfield Avenue. Police received a report of a vehicle that had allegedly backed into another and then fled the scene. Police reported at the time that they did not have the vehicle that allegedly backed into the other, but they did have a plate. The accident is under investigation.
