Emergency response and crime report

1:42 a.m.: larceny, Monroe Street, a caller reports he had some guests visit and believes one of them stole his credit card, the responding officer report the man’s credit card is missing but there is no evidence it was stolen;
9:15 a.m.: motor vehicle violation, Elm Street, a patrol officer reports a traffic stop, the operator’s out-of-state license was found to be suspended, the vehicle was towed to a Connecticut address;
12:42 p.m.: animal complaint, Yankee Circle, the manager of animal control operations reports a resident took custody of a stray neutered male retriever dog and she transported the dog to the municipal animal shelter, the manager said that the dog’s tag indicates he is named Toby;
1:08 p.m.: fraud, Fowler Street Extension, a resident came to the station to report that when she attempted to file her income taxes she found that somebody had already filed a tax return in her name;
2:26 p.m.: arrest, Noble Hospital, 115 W. Silver St., officer were dispatched to the hospital in regards to a patient being discharged, the man was found to be the subject to an outstanding warrant issued in 2015 by Westfield district court, Hunter C. Wolfe, 19, of no fixed address in Southwick, was arrested on the warrant;
4:39 p.m.: weather complaint, Granville Road, a caller reports a tree is down, the responding officer reports he was able to move half of a tree out of the roadway but the other half is hung up on a standing tree, the DPW was notified;
5:13 p.m.: weather complaint, Granville Road, a caller reports a tree fell on another which is now threatening to fall on electrical wires, the responding officer confirmed that the tree is a threat to utility wires, the DPW was notified;
5:32 p.m.: suspicious activity, Orange Street, a caller reports someone rang her doorbell and when she responded she found a dead animal on her doorstep, the responding officer reports the animal appeared to be a recently deceased gopher, the carcass was bagged and disposed of;
7:16 p.m.: vandalism, Noble Hospital, Court Street, a hospital employee reports her SUV was keyed while it was parked at her workplace;
7:26 p.m.: weather complaint, Pochassic Road, a caller reports a fallen tree is blocking the roadway, a second caller reports the tree took down wires which have ignited a utility pole, the G&E was notified and a crew was dispatched, the roadway was cleared;
9:40 p.m.: accident, Court Street at Washington Street, a patrol supervisor reports he spoke with an operator who appeared to have been involved in a property damage accident and observed the classic symptoms of alcohol intoxication, the woman admitted she had been drinking alcohol and failed a field sobriety test, Elizabeth A. Bala-McPhee, 34, of 151 Sackett Road, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor and for negligent operation of a motor vehicle;
10:29 p.m.: recovered property, Springfield, a Springfield officer called to report that a firearm which had been reported to have been stolen in the city was recovered in Springfield.
