1:06 a.m.: Disturbance, Hamden Street. Police received a report of a loud college party that was allegedly happening at one of the properties on the street, as well as a fight between two people. Police arrived and disrupted the party, no arrests.
2:16 a.m.: Suspicious activity and arrest, North Elm Street. Police received a report from a passerby who flagged down police and reported a possibly intoxicated person behind a wheel in a parking lot on North Elm Street. Police arrived and found the driver, Kenneth Rooke, 54, of Westfield, allegedly passed out in the vehicle. Police arrested Rooke and charged him with operating under the influence of liquor.
12:11 p.m.: Accident, Southampton Road and Egleston Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2003 Ford Taurus and a 2017 Honda Accord. No injuries were reported and no tow trucks requested.
6:31 p.m.: Accident, Foch Avenue and Montgomery Street. Police received a report for a two-vehicle crash involving a 2016 Mitsubishi Outlander and a 2008 Suzuki SX4. Police reported no injuries but two tow trucks were requested.
11:30 p.m.: Accident, Summer Street. Police received a report of a vehicle that struck a parked vehicle, with the vehicle that struck the other still on scene. No injuries and no tow trucks requested.
