7:57 a.m.: Accident, Union Avenue. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2005 Hyundai Sonata and a 2014 Toyota Camry. No injuries were reported and no tow trucks were requested.

10:35 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police reported that a piece of mail containing medications was reportedly stolen from a property. Police are investigating and no further information was provided.

12 p.m.: Accident, East Mountain Road and Springfield Road. Police received a report of a two-vehicle crash involving a 2016 Chevrolet Traverse and a 2014 Toyota Avalon. One person was transported to Baystate Medical Center following the crash and one vehicle was towed.

12:50 p.m.: Larceny, Court Street. Police received a report of a check that was allegedly stolen from a business on Court Street by a former employee. Police are investigating.

4:04 p.m.: Shoplifting arrest, Walmart, Springfield Road. Police received a report from Walmart security that they had stopped an alleged shoplifter. Police met with security and reported that Jose Olivo, 36, of Springfield, had allegedly shoplifted two items and he was reportedly found with the items on his person in the parking lot. Police reported the value of the items at around $113. Police arrested Olivo and charged him with shoplifting by concealing merchandise–third offense, as well as on three warrants.
