12:57 p.m.:
suspicious, Westfield Bank, 26 Arnold St., manager reported a customer trying to exchange a 1.5″ stack of $20 bills for $100 bills, teller refused since he wasn’t a customer, suspect described as a Hispanic man, late 20s to early 30s, 5’7″ tall, short beard and small tattoo under right eye, left in a silver 4-door Pontiac with white man driving, plate number given to police;
5:59 p.m.: disturbance, Cardinal Street near Shaker Road, caller reported an altercation between several individuals, one party transported to Baystate Noble Hospital;
9:39 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Municipal Parking Lot, Franklin Street, Robert E. Matthews, III, 24, of 17 Miller St., arrested on charges of possession of Class A drug, operating motor vehicle with license suspended and failing to signal;
9:58 p.m.: medical emergency, Charles Street, 44-year-old man not breathing, CPR performed, patient transported to Baystate Noble Hospital.
