11:13 a.m.: Larceny, walk-in. Police received a report of a possibly stolen license plate from an automotive repair business in Westfield. Police reported that they were unsure if the plate was stolen, however. Police are investigating.
1:12 p.m.: Accident, North Elm Street. Police received a report of a one-car accident involving a vehicle and a street sign. Police reported that no injuries occurred and that there was no request for a tow truck.
3:05 p.m.: Officer wanted, walk-in. Police received a report from a person who reported that a firearm may have been left in a vehicle they had recently purchased. The gun was reportedly licensed and legal and was reportedly the previous owner’s. However, a holster was found in the vehicle but no gun. Police are investigating.
11:06 p.m.: breaking and entering, Union Street. Police received a report of an alarm that went off at a business. Police responded and found a broken front window and reported that entry was made into the business, but nothing was reported stolen. Police are investigating.
