12:17 a.m.: shoplifting, Rite Aid Store, 7 E. Silver St., employee reported seeing a male shoplift from the store and run out of store and down Broad Street, surveillance tapes will be checked, shoplifter described as Hispanic male, approximately 5’7″, 160-170 pounds, black jeans with lettering on left front pocket, NY hat with lettering around the rim, long sleeve blue or black windbreaker and black and white sneakers with white laces and white leather on the tips, K9 sent to the location, two possible suspects questioned near the bike path, no arrest reported at this time;
2:06 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, 182 N. Elm St., Corinne Lemire Canterbury, 35, of 12 Aldrich Ave., Huntington, arrested on charges of possession to distribute a Class A drug and Nicholas J. Broden, 23, of no known address, arrested on charges of possession to distribute a Class A drug;
4:09 p.m.: larceny, Stay and Play Deluxe Laundromat, 65 Franklin St., employee reported that a female patron was stealing from other people’s machines;
4:59 p.m.: accident, Westfield Police Department, 15 Washington St., accident reported in the back parking lot of the WPD, no injuries, no tows;
5:14 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, Great River Bridge South bound, N. Elm Street, Julie M. Kvarnstrom, 47, of 1119 Huntington Road, Russell, arrested on charges of possession to distribute Class A drug;
7:35 p.m.: auto fire, 14 Phelps Ave., dual response;
8:59 p.m.: accident, Main Line Drive, 2004 Volkswagen Passat (towed), no injuries.
