Emergency response and crime report

10:01 a.m.:
fraud, citizen came to station to report that her social security and date of birth were used to purchase items, officer reports citizen received a bill from a tax preparation firm which had not provided services, referred to the detective bureau;
12:02 p.m.: minor Property damage accident, arrest, intersection of Notre Dame and North Elm streets, officer reports one vehicle was behind the other and contact occurred when the front vehicle attempted to back up, both vehicles sustained minor bumper damage, one of the motorists involved was the subject of three arrest warrants, Ronald J. Marcotte, 47, of 10 Concord Terrace, Enfield, Conn. Was taken into custody;
1:37 p.m.: breaking and entering and motor vehicle larceny, caller reports that his vehicle was parked in the lot of Advance Auto Parts while he was inside the store conducting business and that he had left a window down because he had his dog inside the vehicle, when he returned he found that his iPhone was missing, information taken;
3:12 p.m.: threatening to commit a crime, Noble Hospital emergency department, caller reports a subject is threatening to harm staff members, officer reports subject was located nearby and issued a trespass order;
3:45 p.m.: shoplifting, Walmart 141 Springfield Road, loss prevention reports detaining two subjects for shoplifting, will deal with the issue internally but wish to have both subject served with trespass orders;
5:04 p.m.: property found, 303 Main St., citizen came to station to report finding a purse containing a driver’s license and social security card, officer report owner notified to recover property;
6:34 p.m.: fraud, Fox Hill Road resident came to station to report that her debit card was used at a Walmart store in New Haven, Conn., officer reports information taken and sent forward to New Haven Police Department for further investigation;
7:15 p.m.: motor vehicle violation, arrest, Springfield Road, officer requesting assistance of detective bureau, 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt towed from scene, detective took motorist into custody, Nicholas S. Serre, 25, of 78 Knollwood Drive charged with distribution of a class A drug, heroin, and larceny of property valued at less than $250.
